A family court in Mumbai has granted model-turned-actor Yukta Mookhey a divorce by mutual consent from her estranged husband Prince Tuli. The Bombay High Court even quashed the criminal complaint filed by the former Miss World against her in-laws which she had filed alleging harassment and cruelty under the provisions of the Domestic Violence Act and the Indian Penal Code. While Mookhey agreed not to seek any compensation from Tuli, he consented not to seek the custody of their child.
Witness turns hostile
One of the 12 witnesses in the 2002 hit-and-run case involving Salman Khan turned hostile recently, refusing to tell the police that on the night of the incident he had seen the actor getting out of the car or fleeing from the scene. Sachin Kadam, a security guard at a restaurant opposite the accident spot at Hill Road, Bandra West in Mumbai and the first witness to backtrack on his earlier statement given to the police felt it was wrong to say that he was trying to save the actor.
