Iqra Dutt poses next her dad’s poster

It was quite a touching moment to watch Sanjay Dutt’s little daughter Iqra’s delight on seeing her father’s poster at the special screening of his just-released film Ungli at Lightbox preview theatre recently. She attended it with her mother Manyata Dutt and twin brother Shahraan. The four-year-old was so thrilled to see the poster and thinking that it was him there, she clung to her father’s hand and happily posed for the cameras. It was endearing as well as sad to watch the little girl’s confusion about her father being there and yet not talking to her. Even Shahraan and Manyata posed next to Sanjay Dutt’s poster from the film.
Dutt is currently serving jail term in Pune’s Yerawada jail in connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts.
