Divya Kumar’s Sanam Re takes off on December 22

Divya Khosla Kumar starts shooting for her second directorial, Sanam Re, on December 22 in Himachal Pradesh. The actress-turned-director who had been on a recce since the last few months finalised Shyam Negi’s (one of India’s oldest voters) residence as lead actor Pulkit Samrat’s abode in the film. Kumar spotted his quaint home online and went to Shimla not knowing that the house belonged to Negi. She fell in love with the house the moment she saw it.
This will be the first film to be shot in 97-year-old Negi’s house.
In fact Negi may do a miniscule role in the film as well. The movie which is produced by Bhushan Kumar will be shot primarily North India and Canada. Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela play the female leads.
