Priyadarshan with wife Lissy

Film-maker Priyadarshan and his wife Lissy have decided to end their 24-year old marriage. Lissy, recently filed for divorce at a Chennai family court. Both their children and close friends are aware of their decision. Lissy, a former actress, was 16 when she first met Priyadarshan on the sets of his 1984 Malayalam film Odaruthammava Alariyam, and fell in love during the course of the shoot. They were married in 1990 and she gave up her career to settle down in matrimony.

Flat trouble

Priyanka Chopra, who had rented out her flat at Vastu Precinct building in Shastri Nagar in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala to Manik Soni, has sent a legal notice asking him to vacate the place. Chopra had to take this step after she was told about the flesh trade racket that was being run from the flat. Soni, who had told her he was the owner of Charisma Spa and Beauty Centre, is accused of running a sex racket, is currently absconding.
