Mahesh Bhatt and Dhanush pose for a keepsake on the sets of the film

Mahesh Bhatt who will be seen in a scene in R. Balki’s Shamitabh shot for the film in Mumbai last week. The scene required him to walk the carpet with Dhanush who reportedly plays an actor in the film. Balki will wrap up the shooting of the movie by this weekend. Amitabh Bachchan who plays the protagonist in the film tweeted how he shot an action sequence for an entire day!
The film was earlier filmed in Finland and the U.K. In fact, Shamitabh is the first film to be shot in the Finnish Laplands. Parts were also filmed in Goa and Ooty. Reportedly, Big B gives a voiceover to Dhanush who is a deaf and mute junior artiste. The film is produced by Sunil Lulla and is slated to release on February 6, 2015.
