T- Series launches YouTube sensation Arjun

T-series, who took UK-based artist & YouTube sensation Arjun under their wings last year, released his new single on their official YouTube channel last week. The track is an English mix of Kabhi jo baadal barse from the film Jackpot, which was originally sung by Arijit Singh. It is an R&B version, which depicts both, pain and happiness that a person experiences in love. It is written, composed and sung by Arjun himself.

Arjun said, “I want to push the boundaries as a non-playback artist and make music that appeals to an international audience, while staying true to my roots. In Kabhi jo… I have tried to keep the production natural, with mostly piano, guitars and strings, in order to bring out the classic melody of the original song. The response has been amazing so far.” T-Series will release Arjun’s yet-untitled album under their banner later this month.
