Jr NTR addressed the reporters and photographers gathered at the Hyderabad airport to welcome him home after RRR's Oscars success.

RRR star Jr NTR is back in India after attending the prestigious Oscars 2023 ceremony in Hollywood, on Sunday. The star was spotted at the Hyderabad airport on Tuesday night where he was mobbed by fans desperate to get a few glimpses of him. Jr NTR, his co-star Ram Charan and filmmaker SS Rajamouli were promoting RRR in the US before the Oscars. After attending the 95th Academy Awards ceremony, where RRR’s joyously energetic anthem “Naatu Naatu” won the best original song award, Jr NTR touched down Hyderabad, and his wife Lakshmi Pranathi came to pick him up.

However, a sea of fans also came to welcome the RRR star, who ended up getting mobbed. Videos from the airport have surfaced on social media. Have a look here:

In one video, fans can be seen waving RRR flags. Many of them were also seen holding Tarak’s posters. The actor was then mobbed by the paparazzi and the media as he made his way to his car. The actor then stood atop his car and waved at everybody who had come to welcome him, and blew kisses at them as they cheered for him.

Tarak spoke to the media and expressed his gratitude for the love that he and the RRR team has received from fans and audiences all over the world. According to ANI, Tarak said, “Seeing MM Keeravaani and Chandrabose accepting the Oscar award was the best moment. I feel very proud of RRR. I want to thank every Indian for encouraging RRR, this award (Oscar) that we’ve won has only been possible with the love of the audience and the film industry.”
