Yash requests fans to celebrate his birthday responsibly: ‘There have been some unfortunate incidents’
Yash shared a long note on his Instagram handle requesting his fans to avoid any extreme celebrations on his birthday. The actor will have a working birthday.

Its that time of the year when Yash releases a special note for his fans fearing the extreme lengths they go to to celebrate his birthday on January 8. After three of his fans died while setting up a 25-foot cutout in January 2024, the actor has once again shared a note, requesting fans to avoid “unfortunate incidents”. In his note, just like last year, the actor shared that he won’t be in town on his birthday.
In a long note, the KGF star wrote, “As the new year dawn, it’s a time for reflection, resolutions, an charting a new course. The love you all have showered on me over the years has been nothing short of phenomenal. But, there have been some unfortunate incidents too.”

He added, “It is time for us to change our language of love, especially when it comes to the celebration of my birthday. The expression of your love should not be in grand gestures and gatherings. The greatest gift for me is knowing you are safe, setting positive examples, achieving your goals, and spreading joy.”
Yash informed his fans that he will be busy shooting on his birthday. He wrote, “I will be busy shooting and will not be in town on my birthday. However, the warmth of your wishes will always reach me and be my constant companion, fueling my spirit and inspiring me.”
Yash will be turning 39 on January 8. The actor is currently shooting for Toxic.
Last year, three fans of Yash, who were in their early 20s, lost their lives in Suranga village of Gadag district, Karnataka while setting up a cutout of the actor. They died when the cutout came in contact with an electric wire.
