Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar is promoting his upcoming movie Bhairathi Ranagal, and during one of his recent interviews, he made revelation about his health and mentioned that he is ‘undergoing treatment’. The star did not share exact details about his illness but he assured fans that he’s receiving best treatment and is on track for a full recovery.
Shivarajkumar shared these updates in an interview with a YouTube channel. “I am also a human being, and I have a problem. It has come, and I am taking treatment for it. I have about four sessions of treatment to complete,” shared the actor.
Despite ongoing treatment, Shivarajkumar is fulfilling his work commitments. In the interview he mentioned that from completing his upcoming movie 45 to attending promotions for Bhairathi Ranagal, he is doing it all.
Sharing about his treatment, Shivarajlumar mentioned that after two more sessions he will undergo surgery which is likely to take place in the USA. He added that it might take a month-long recovery period. He further added, “After that, I will be completely alright.”

Shivarajkumar also shared that his producers and directors were aware of his condition and explained that he decided to go public to avoid misunderstandings and prevent rumours. “I also panicked when I first learned about it, and I don’t want people to worry. After that, I gained the confidence to face it. Now, it’s getting better. There is no need to worry,” he added.
Shivarajkumar shared a recent incident when fans want to take selfies with him and he has to ask them to maintain some distance to avoid infection. “I usually don’t do that, and people might misunderstand it. It’s just for two more months, and then I will be back to normal,” shared the star.
Shivarajkumar’s team also posted a statement online requesting everyone to avoid rumours and unnecessary speculation in this regard.

Shivarajkumar is busy promoting his upcoming film Bhairathi Ranagal which is a prequel to the 2018 hit Mufti. The highly-anticipated Kannada movie is set to hit the screens on November 15, 2024.
