After much confusion over the release of Ram Charan Teja’s action flick Dhruva, the filmmakers have finally decided to push the movie on December 9 worldwide.

Completing the last leg of the shooting, the film wrapped previous week after the last scenes were shot in Thailand’s Krabi islands. The lead actors posted the news on social media. “And it’s a wrap for Dhruva! My team that keeps me going!” Ram Charan Teja had said.
The film is expected to be a big show for the star as it packs some heavy-duty action sequences shot in exotic and remote locations. Rakesh Udiyar, who has worked with Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Aamir Khan in Sultan and Dangal respectively, has also been working with Ram Charan for his bulky yet rugged look in Dhruva. We all know that from box office hits Magadheera to Thoofan, Charan has always been keen on signing action-packed roles.
Dhruva is the official Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster, Jayam Ravi’s Thani Oruvan. Music has been composed by Hiphop Tamizha, who also composed for the Tamil original, and cinematography is by PS Vinod. Under Surender Reddy’s direction, the film features Rakul Preet Singh, who plays Ram Charan’s ladylove, apart from Arvind Swamy who is also seen playing a crucial role.
