Rachita Ram expresses disbelief over her ‘mentor’ Darshan’s alleged involvement in Renukaswamy murder case: ‘It’s hard to believe…’

Rachita, who made her silver screen debut with the film Bulbul opposite Darshan, also noted that the Kranti actor had introduced her to the film industry.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Rachita revealed her disbelief, writing, “Following the recent incident, I am writing this note, not as an actress but as an ordinary citizen. Firstly, my condolences to Renuka Swamy, and I pray for his soul to rest in peace. I also pray to the Almighty to give strength to the family of Renuka Swamy to bear this loss. Further, I also believe that justice will be served in this case.”

The actor continued, “Darshan sir, who introduced me to the film industry, is like a guru (mentor) to me. It’s hard to believe that Darshan sir, who guided me, is involved in such a case. However, I believe that truth shall prevail in the end following the police investigation in the matter.”

Rachita concluded her note, by stating, “I believe that the police will bring out the truth. Hope the media will remain unbiased and transparent in their reports.”
So far, prominent figures like Divya Spandana, Ram Gopal Varma, Upendra, and Kichcha Sudeep have also commented on the Darshan fan murder case, which has dominated headlines for the past few days.

Darshan was arrested on June 11 in connection with the murder case. Darshan, along with Pavithra Gowda, her alleged partner, and 10 others, was taken into custody for their alleged involvement in Renukaswamy’s death. The victim reportedly sent derogatory messages to Pavithra, leading to his abduction. He was subsequently found dead at Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru.
