Malayalam actor Mammootty’s nephew Ashkar Saudan will be seen as the male lead in Jespal Shanmukhan – directed ‘Mithram’.

The young actor, who had been seen in serials like ‘Aaro Oraal’ and ‘Venal Mazha’, made his debut into tinsel town with uncle Mammootty’s ‘Thaskara Veeran’, in which he played a small role. After which he acted in ‘Evar Vivahitharaayaal’, ‘Kanyakumari Express’, ‘Njanara Mon’ and ‘Valiyangadi’.

‘Mithram’ is said to be a horror love story where Ashkar will be playing two roles – one that of a journalist Siddarth and second is that of a common man Madhav.

The film narrates the intriguing incidents that occour in the life of Siddarth on a night during his journey from Peermedu to Alapuzha.

The other actors include Vijay Menon, Devan, R K Rajesh Shelley, Gauri Krishna, Surya Kiran, Gita Vijayan, and Thrissur Elsy.
