Kantara Chapter 1 box office collection day 10: On Saturday, Kantara 2 recorded an impressive 70.79% growth, collecting Rs 11.25 crore in Kannada, Rs 5.25 crore in Telugu, Rs 4.75 crore in Tamil, Rs 3.25 crore in Malayalam, and Rs 13.5 crore in Hindi.

Kantara Chapter 1 box office collection day 10: Rishab Shetty’s Kantara 2 continues its remarkable run at the box office well into its second week. According to trade portal Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 38 crore on its second Saturday, taking its total India net collection to Rs 397.65 crore. With this momentum, the film is poised to cross the Rs 400 crore mark soon, cementing its position as one of the biggest blockbusters of 2025.

Released on October 2 in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi, Kantara Chapter 1 has emerged as a true pan-India success story. On Saturday, it recorded an impressive 70.79% growth, collecting Rs 11.25 crore in Kannada, Rs 5.25 crore in Telugu, Rs 4.75 crore in Tamil, and Rs 3.25 crore in Malayalam. At the Hindi box office, the film earned a solid Rs 13.5 crore on its second Saturday.

Kantara: Chapter 1 recorded an overall 71.39% occupancy in Kannada on Saturday, while its Telugu occupancy stood at 43.36%. The film registered 32.84% occupancy in Hindi, 53.07% in Tamil, and 52.40% in Malayalam. Meanwhile, the action drama has also sold over 10 million tickets on BookMyShow so far, underscoring the love the film continues to receive from audiences across the country. Taking to its official social media handle, BookMyShow wrote, “When cinema turns divine, the entire country feels the goosebumps.”

Talking about the success of the Kantara movies at an event in New Delhi, Rishab Shetty said, “We began the world of Kantara from the first film, and since then, we have explored the dynamic between nature and humans. This story is rooted in our folklore from coastal Karnataka. We want to talk about the tribes, the folklore and deity worship in our film. Since then, I have had a thought that regional can also be universal. This time with this success, that point has once again been proven that our film is being accepted globally.”

Kantara Chapter-1 is directed by Rishab Shetty and produced by Hombale Films. The movie also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, and Jayaram in key roles.
