Priyanka Chopra’s sister-in-law Danielle Jonas says she feels ‘less than’ her, Kevin Jonas believes she’ll ‘always be compared to the women’ of the family

She said, “The two boys married somebody who are actresses. They’re out there, everyone knows them. And I feel like I’m Danielle, and it’s hard.” Danielle also shared that when she is with Priyanka and Sophie, she feels “less than” them.

“It’s also that, like I’m out there celebrity-wise because I’ve married you (Kevin). And that’s where it’s like, ‘Oh, I wanna have something else to my name too.’” Danielle, who married Kevin in 2009 and has two daughters with him, added that she wants to be “like the other girls.” She said, “Cause then when I’m with the other girls, I feel just less than sometimes. It’s weird.”

Supporting his wife, Kevin said he feels the same way when he is around his brothers Joe and Nick Jonas. He said, “I feel the same way with Nick and Joe, right? Like solo careers, movies, all this stuff. It’s like everyone has to find their place … No matter the situation, right? You’ll always be compared to the women around you the most.”

Priyanka Chopra entered the Jonas family in 2018 after marrying Nick in an extravagant ceremony in India. They are now parents to daughter Malti Marie. The actor shares a close bond with Sophie and Danielle whom she calls her “close friends”. She has even appeared with them in the Jonas Brothers’ songs Sucker (2019) and What a Man Gotta Do (2020).

Speaking about her relationship with Sophie and Danielle to Elle UK, Priyanka earlier said, “I’ve never had a sister, so it’s really nice to have Danielle and Sophie, and just inheriting the family by proxy.”
