Singer Mel C has reportedly pulled out of the Spice Girls 20th anniversary reunion in order to focus on her solo career.
The girl group, also including Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell, were set to reunite despite fifth member Victoria Beckham’s refusal to take part but plans are in chaos now that Mel C has also pulled out, reported Aceshowbiz.
“Mel C is out of the reunion for now. She has essentially left the band to focus on a more serious music career. She loves the girls but it just didn’t feel right for her to reunite with them at the moment,” a source said.
“She has other priorities and obviously it was a bit of a problem that Victoria made it clear she wasn’t going to be part of the reunion.”
