Jungkook shares his love for chicken makhani and naan in new Weverse session: ‘I want to eat it so bad’

On Sunday night, the desi BTS ARMY was in for a delightful surprise as Jungkook, the youngest member of the pop band, held another interactive live session on Weverse. During the session, Jungkook’s expressed his love for Indian cuisines, particularly chicken makhani and naan.

During the session, Jungkook revealed, “Someone asked if I’ve ever tried Indian food. Chicken makhani. You know naan? You dip it in the curry and eat it. I really love that. Eating it with curry. God, I want to eat it so bad. It’d be delicious. I’m hungry. I’m starving. Please don’t talk about food. I beg you.”

It seems the BTS gang is developing a special connection with the Indian culture. Jungkook’s latest revelation stirred memories among fans of BTS’s another member Jimin’s past Weverse sessions. During the session, Jimin had mentioned his love for Biryani. BTS member Yoongi, in a previous session, had also expressed his desire to visit Indian and also mentioned his fondness for Bollywood films.

In 2021, a video resurfaced online which showed the BTS members enjoying naan and paneer. In the video, one of the members quipped, “I think it’s tofu but it tastes like milk,” while they tasted paneer. Another member asked, “Is it cheese?”

On the professional front, Jungkook has revealed that he is currently working on a mini-album, which is set to release by November, along with another upcoming single. His debut single ‘Seven’ is already making much noise and has reached the No.1 spot on the Billboard 100 chart. The song featured collaborations with American rapper Latto and South Korean actress Han So-hee.
