Singer Celine Dion has cancelled her Las Vegas concerts following the death of her husband, Rene Angelil.

A statement was released on the “My Heat Will Go On” singer’s website, announcing the cancellation of this weekend’s concerts, although the Canadian singer, 47, is not expected to return to the stage until February, reported Us magazine.

“Celine earlier today announced the death of her husband Rene Angelil after a long fight with cancer. The couple had celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary last month. Celine will return to The Colosseum on February 23 to resume performances.”

The couple have three children together, Rene-Charles, 14, and twin boys Nelson and Eddy, 5.
