Avril Lavigne’s version of Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Breakaway’ leaks

Pop star Avril Lavigne’s original version of Kelly Clarkson’s hit ‘Breakaway’ has leaked online. The track was a global hit for the American Idol winner back in 2004, which prompted her to name her second studio album after the cut, reported Ace Showbiz.

Lavigne originally co-wrote and recorded ‘Breakaway’ for her own debut album Let Go in 2002, but decided it was unsuitable for the collection.

Meanwhile, Lavigne recently announced plans to tour the US with Backstreet Boys this summer in support of her recent self-titled album.

Lavigne’s fifth studio collection was released back in November and reached number five in the US and 14 in the UK.
