Tovino Thomas files case against online troll for constant harassment

Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas has sought legal remedy from an online troll. According to reports, the actor has filed a defamation complaint against an Instagram user, who seems to have been making derogatory statements about the actor for a long time now. The actor has finally decided to put an end to it by filing a complaint directly with the Director General of Police. He has urged for speedy action against the miscreant.

An FIR has been filed at Panangadu police station against the user, who has been using offensive language against Tovino in the social media posts and comments sections. Tovino has provided the links and evidence of such constant harassment to the police, who have assured action against the user.

The actor delivered a success this year with the disaster film 2018, which became the highest-grosser in the Malayalam film industry. The film has made the actor a nationwide sensation and has Malayalam cinema catch up on the pan-Indian trend.

The actor recently shared the poster of his upcoming film Nadikar Thilakam on Instagram. He wrote, “Lights, Camera, Nadikar Thilakam! We’re thrilled to share a brand new poster with you as each passing shoot day, the magic of David and Bala in “Nadikar Thilakam” keeps unfolding!”

Currently, Tovino is part of four projects Ajayante Randam Moshanam, Anweshippin Kandethum, Adrishya Jalakangal, and Nadikar Thilakam. The films are in different stages of production, and it is expected that Tovino will have a release before 2024.
