Prithviraj Sukumaran confirms another film with Blessy and Memories sequel: ‘Jeethu Joseph has an idea to take Sam Alex’s story forward’

The actor also noted that he has no intention of subjecting himself to the kind of extreme physical strain he endured for Aadujeevitham ever again. “I don’t think I will go to the extent of starving myself ever again like I did for Aadujeevitham. I know that it is not easy. I am aware that actors like Christian Bale are doing this physical transformation for roles consistently. I don’t know how they are ok. At least when we see him now, he seems perfectly healthy with no problems. He still undergoes physical transformations for many films. But for me, I don’t think it’s a good idea to do it again. Because I want to have a long career. I aspire to act for a long time and do many more films. If I take risks like that again, it might become an issue for my health.”

Prithviraj Sukumaran hinted at a possible collaboration with director Blessy after the blockbuster success of Aadujeevitham. He said, “Blessy sir has already set out with the plans of his next one. When that comes out, that film might become my next performance to show my daughter.”

When asked about possible sequels to any of his past superhits, Prithviraj confirmed that Drishyam director Jeethu Joseph has pitched him an idea for a Memories sequel. “The creators of the movies are the ones who should decide about possible sequels to the films. I don’t know if I am supposed to say this, but Jeethu Joseph wants to do a sequel to Memories. He has been telling me this for some time now. I don’t know if he will do it since I said this here. Jeethu has an idea to take Sam Alex’s story forward.”

Prithviraj’s Vilaayatha Budha, also starring Priyamvada Krishnan, Shammi Thilakan and Anu Mohan, is all set to release on November 21.
