Colombian singer J Balvin’s performance at Coachella Music Festival, on Sunday night, was nothing short of a sci-fi movie, with a UFO-themed set that left the audience in awe.  The “Bum Bum Tam Tam” singer took the stage sporting cornrows and a Vetements leather jacket adorned with alien-like patches, before changing into a sparkly stardust outfit. His magnetic presence and high-energy performance captivated the crowd from the moment he opened with his hit song “Mi Gente”. But what truly made the night unforgettable was the surprise appearance of Hollywood actor Will Smith, who joined the singer on stage in full Men in Black (MIB) attire, complete with sunglasses and a black suit. Viral videos from the event show the duo performing the title track from the 1997 film, much to the delight of fans.

The 55-year-old actor, who delivered an energetic performance, asked the audience to sing along with him as Balvin shook a leg next to him. In a comical conclusion to their onstage collaboration, Balvin was dragged off stage by dancers dressed in black suits, as Will, who played Agent J in the film, pulled out the iconic ‘Neuralyzer’ memory-eraser device which features in MIB. In the film, Will used the device to wipe out the memories of people who witnessed alien activities and retired agents. Will’s family members, also present at the festival, were seen enjoying his performance.

But the fun didn’t stop there. J Balvin returned to the stage to deliver an electrifying performance of his hit song “In Da Ghetto,” accompanied by a group of talented dancers dressed in green alien costumes, complete with large black eyes.

Men in Black (MIB) starred Will Smith alongside Tommy Lee Jones (Agent K), who were employed as agents at a secret government agency. MIB, which minted $250.7 million (according to IMDb’s Box Office Mojo) at the domestic box office, had three more sequels, titled, Men in Black II, Men in Black 3 and Men in Black: International.
