Tupac biopic casts Lauren Cohan

‘The Walking Dead’ cast member Lauren Cohan is joining Tupac Shakur film “All Eyez on Me”.  Cohan, best known for playing Maggie on the AMC show,  joins “Walking Dead” castmate Danai Gurira in the biopic, playing an early mentor to the late rapper, Leila Steinberg, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Gurira will play Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur, with Demetrius Shipp Jr in the lead role.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ star Kat Graham has the part of Jada Pinkett Smith.

‘All Eyez on Me’ will follow Tupac’s life, including being raised by political activist Afeni and his involvement in the East-West rap war.

Music video director Benny Boom is directing the film, which has no release date as of yet.
