Johnny Depp to quit acting for good

His recently released film <i>The Lone Ranger</i> failed to create magic at the box office.

Even though he has high profile projects like Pirates of the Caribbean 5,Transcendence and Into the Woods in the pipeline,superstar Johnny Depp has revealed plans to quit acting for good.

At only 50,the multi-millionaire US actor said he wants to retire to concentrate on other interests,reported Sun Online.

“Are there quieter things I wouldn’t mind doing? Yes,I wouldn’t mind that. I wouldn’t say I am dropping out any second but I would say it’s not too far away,” Deep said.

The quirky star of the Pirates Of The Caribbean series split from French singer Vanessa Paradis,the mother of his two children,a year ago.

His new girlfriend is rumoured to be bisexual actress Amber Heard,27.

Depp’s recently released film The Lone Ranger failed to create magic at the box office.
