Actress Jennifer Lawrence has congratulated Amy Schumer on her Emmy Awards win with a text message, saying she looked “pretty but not smart”.

The 34-year-old “Trainwreck” star picked up the outstanding variety sketch series prize for TV series “Inside Amy Schumer” and Lawrence, 25, congratulated her, reported Entertainment Weekly. “She said that I looked pretty but not smart. She did! She’s really funny. She’s the real deal funny,” Schumer said.

Lawrence and Schumer are writing a screenplay which they plan to star in together. But it will be a very long “year or
something” before they start shooting the comedy. “My sister and Jen and I wrote a movie together so we’re gonna hopefully be shooting that in a year or something. We’re busy!”
