Harry Potter star Jessie Cave aka Lavender Brown joins OnlyFans to ‘get out of debt,’ promises ‘sensual’ hair videos

Jessie Cave clarified, ‘It’s Not Sexual’ Speaking on her podcast Before We Break Up Again, the actress emphasised that her OnlyFans content doesn’t cross into explicit territory, but is a ‘fetish’. “I am launching an OnlyFans, it’s not a sexual one,” she explained, as per Entertainment Weekly. “It’s a fetish. Fetish doesn’t necessarily mean sexual.”

On her OnlyFans profile, she described herself as a “former Harry Potter actress, writer, doodler, and now OnlyFans Long Hair Specialist.” She promised “niche hair content” with “owl drop near daily.”

Cave promised fans “the best quality hair sounds,” adding, “You need to hear the brushing.” While she admitted she can’t afford a proper microphone just yet, she wants to deliver a lot of “swishing” and other hair-focused content on the platform.

Why is Jessie Cave doing it?

In a post on her Substack (via variety), she got candid about why she’s taking this route. “One year. I’ll try for one year,” she wrote. “My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc. My aim? To get out of debt.”

But it’s about more than money. “My aim? To empower myself. To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I’m not so sweet. To put time into something I never invested in before: self-love,” she shared. She also joked about her Harry Potter convention years being “research” for this next chapter. “[It feels] like I’m doing something naughty, something a little messed up. I like that. Ripping up the good little actress rule book.”

The actress made her debut as Lavender Brown in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009), reprising the role in the final two Deathly Hallows movies. Beyond Hogwarts, she’s appeared in Great Expectations, Black Mirror, and Industry. She’s also voiced Lavender in two Harry Potter video games.

OnlyFans: A growing trend

Cave isn’t the only celebrity taking a turn on OnlyFans. Singer Lily Allen revealed last year that she makes more from foot pictures on OnlyFans than from her music streams on Spotify. “Don’t hate the player, hate the game,” Allen posted on X.
And The Sopranos star Drea de Matteo credited OnlyFans for helping her avoid foreclosure. “OnlyFans saved my life,” she told DailyMail.com, adding that it gave her the means to keep her family home and start a new business.
