Godzilla x Kong trailer: The almighty and fearsome unite to confront a colossal, undiscovered threat hidden in our world
Godzilla x Kong trailer: The latest installment in the MonsterVerse will feature an impending battle that will be even more intense and formidable than before.

Two years after their epic clash, Kong and Godzilla are set to return, but this time united, to take on a colossal and previously undiscovered threat lurking in the depths of our world. According to the latest trailer of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire that Warner Bros Pictures released recently, the upcoming battle promises to be even more intense and formidable than before.
The 168-second trailer opens with a warning from one of the characters: “For most of human civilization, we believed that life could only exist on the surface of our planet. What else were we wrong about?” This declaration is accompanied by the dramatic emergence of a mammoth hand breaking through the ground.
“This world has more secrets than we could possibly imagine,” she adds, with Kong gearing up for battle but soon realising that “Kong can’t stop this on his own.” But fret not, “he won’t be alone,” as the unstoppable Godzilla emerges to assist his comrade in the impending showdown. The remainder of the promo follows their endeavours to take the New Empire by its horns.
The 38th film in the Godzilla franchise and the 13th film in the King Kong franchise, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire serves as a sequel to Godzilla vs Kong (2021) and is also the fifth instalment in the MonsterVerse.
