Deadpool & Wolverine OTT release: The Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman-starrer has finally had its digital premiere, but is currently available only to buy or rent.

Deadpool and Wolverine OTT Release Date & Time: Director Shawn Levy’s blockbuster superhero film Deadpool and Wolverine, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the titular roles, has finally started streaming, much to the delight of fans worldwide. The 34th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and a sequel to Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018), Deadpool and Wolverine grossed over USD 132 million (approximately Rs 11,129 crore) worldwide, becoming the second-highest-grossing film of 2024 and the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.

Now, the movie has finally had its OTT release, but unfortunately not all can stream it right away. And Indians, particularly, will have to wait for some more days to catch this superhero actioner for free on their already subscribed OTT platforms.

Deadpool and Wolverine OTT release date in India:

Currently, Deadpool and Wolverine is available for purchase or rent on digital video-on-demand sites like Apple TV+, YouTube Movies and Google TV. In India, viewers can buy the movie for Rs 820 (UHD) or Rs 690 (SD) on YouTube Movies. While the movie is available for purchase for Rs 690 on Apple TV+, the UHD version costs Rs 999 and SD costs Rs 799 on Google TV.

Though the film will eventually find its way to Disney+ Hotstar, the streaming giant has not announced an official date for this yet. Forbes reported that based on previous Marvel theatre-to-streaming timelines, Deadpool and Wolverine is likely to have its digital premiere three months after its theatrical release, which means sometime around the last week of October or after that since the film hit the screens worldwide on July 26, 2024.

Also starring Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Aaron Stanford and Matthew Macfadyen in key roles, the movie is a part of Phase Five of the MCU.

In her review of Deadpool and Wolverine, The Indian Express’ Shalini Langer gave it three out of five stars and wrote, “Deadpool and Wolverine doesn’t want to be taken seriously, but it puts all its money, muscle and, because it’s Deadpool, into ensuring that you damn well do.”
