Last Friday's big release Chashme Baddoor passed the IPL test and came out with flying colours. Now it's time for two more movies to face the litmus test this week. Rohan Sippy's romantic comedy Nautanki Saala and Vidyut Jamwal's action film Commando are all set to hit the theatres in the second week of IPL 6. Will they be able to pull a cricket crazy India to the ticket windows or not is yet to be seen, but going by the trailers of Nautanki Saala, the movie looks promising. Nautanki Saala which features Ayushmann Khurranna of Vicky Donor fame, who bagged all the awards last year for his role as a sperm donor,i going to be a crowd puller. Another highlight of the movie is Ayushmann Khurrana's song Sadi Gali Aaja, which is also topping the charts. Plus,Nautanki also features Vidya Balan's devar Kunaal Roy Kapur of Delhi Belly fame. Kunaal received accolades for his performance in the satire. The comedy directed by Rohan Sippy is the story of Ram Parmar played by Ayushmann and Mandar Lele (Kunaal) and their friendship. The movie that has been made on a very low budget also stars Pooja Salvi and Evelyn Sharma playing the female leads. And if you are a diehard action fan, then you can always catch action movie Commando, which has Force actor Vidyut Jamwal with former Miss India Pooja Chopra. Commando is the first solo by Vidyut, who has won awards for his negative role in John Abraham's Force. The movie directed by Dilip Ghosh has been produced by Vipul Shah, who already has plans to produce the sequel of his high-octane action film. Vidyut, who sports a six pack ab in the movie,is very confident about the movie and says he is not worried about it releasing with IPL. Commando is the story of an Indian Army officer, who during a training session gets inside Chinese Border by mistake. Hollywood's ace action choreographer Franz Spilhaus has directed the stunts in Commando. Which is your pick this weekend? (With PTI inputs)
