Who wants to wash dirty linen in public: Adnan Sami

Adnan Sami is in the midst of a raging controversy and his personal life is out in the public domain.

Adnan Sami is in the midst of a raging controversy. His personal life is out in the public domain. But the troubled marriage hasn’t spilled over to his personal life. “I am least affected by the turmoil. It hasn’t affected me,” Adnan sounds optimistic,as we sit down for a tête-à-tête on topics ranging from marital discord to acting. “No one’s perfect. I am not perfect either,” Adnan admits,”I wish we would’ve sorted out the misunderstandings like mature people and parted ways without making it public. Who wants to wash dirty linen in public?”

On the professional front,Adnan is ready to face the camera if the script excites him. Sometime back,Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s sister Bela Segal was planning to launch Adnan as an actor in her directorial debut. Adnan isn’t new to acting since he has faced the camera before, having acted with ex-wife Zeba Bakhtiar in SARGAM [Pakistani film, which was a huge success.

“The script Bela was working on didn’t work out for various reasons. I am open to acting offers if the script and the role excite me. I am ready to essay any part except that of a musician,” Adnan reveals.

Meanwhile,Adnan’s 14-year-old son Azaan is ready to follow his father’s footsteps. The adolescent is in the process of coming out with his first album. “I am not saying this because Azaan is my child, but you’ve to listen to his music to believe the kind of work he’s capable of. He has composed the songs and also rendered them. The kind of work this 14-year-old has come up with,it’s difficult to emulate,” Adnan flashes a proud smile while saying this.
