‘Virus Diwan’ very much on track: Y-Films

The producer says that the movie is very much on track but the release date has been postponed.

So is Arjun Kapoor’s debut film ‘Virus Diwan’ shelved? That’s the news doing the rounds of the industry since quite some time. It seems, after Y-Films’ first venture ‘Luv Ka The End’ didn’t fare as expected at the box-office,the Chopras and Ashish Patil, who is heading Y-Films,did some serious rethinking over their forthcoming projects and decided to start a fresh project with Arjun instead.

However,Ashish Patil of Y-Films denies the rumor outright. “’Virus Diwan’ is very much on track. The subject remains the same and so does the title. In fact,we are fine-tuning it,locking the dialogue of the film currently. We have also shortlisted three girls for the project.” Bumpy, who had directed ‘Luv Ka The End’,is also directing ‘Virus Diwan’. “There’s no change whatsoever. The only change is,we won’t be releasing the film on 30 December,as announced at the outset. Instead,we are pulling forward our fourth project, which was to release after ‘Virus Diwan’. Otherwise, there are no changes whatsoever,” Ashish adds.

The clarification should put an end to all speculation vis-a-vis ‘Virus Dewan’
