Sonakshi,Ranveer’s Lootera and Sanjay Dutt’s Policegiri hit screens today

Days before its release,Lootera has already got a thumbs up from the film fraternity with some saying that it is Sonakshi who steals the show completely.

The chemistry between the lead stars has been appreciated by all who have seen the early previews.

Set,in the 1950’s Sonakshi plays the doe-eyed daughter of a zamindar,while her love interest Ranveer Singh will be seen playing the role of an archeologist.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor,Shobha Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap,Lootera has music by Amit Trivedi. Its romantic numbers like Swaar Loon are already topping the charts.

Director Vikramaditya Motwane who is all praise for Sonakshi and Ranveer said he hopes Lootera will cross the prestigious Rs 100 crore mark.

And is you are not a romantic person then there is Sanjay Dutt’s action-packed Policegiri releasing at a theatre near you.

Sanjay Dutt,who is currently serving a jail sentence after being convicted of illegal possession of arms in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case,plays the role of a tough cop in the film,who decides to fight the local mafia according to his own laws.

Directed by K.S. Ravikumar,Policegiri also stars Prakash Raj,Om Puri and Prachi Desai in the lead.

Sanjay Dutt recently cancelled the Dubai premiere of the film and instead suggested the team organise a paid premiere,donating all funds for Uttarakhand flood victims.

His wife Maanyata,who was recently spotted along with her twins Iqra and Shahraan at the film’s screening,urged Sanjay’s fans to watch Policegiri as she said the film is very close to Sanjay.
