Shabana Azmi,who was highly appreciated for her role of a village witch in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Makdee' will now be portraying the role of a corrupt politician in his next film 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola'. The film also reunites Shabana's pairing with Naseeruddin Shah. Earlier Shabana had won her fifth national award for her incredible portrayal of a politician in Vinay Shukla's 'Godmother'. 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola' also features Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles along with Pankaj Kapur. The film is to be shot be in the interior regions of Haryana.
