Movie shooting may begin from February: Chiranjeevi

The actor-turned-politician recently announced that he would again be donning the grease paint.

Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi hinted that shooting for his 150th feature film would begin in February next year.

The actor-turned-politician recently announced that he would again be donning the grease paint and act in a film in deference to the wishes of his fans.

“My fans’ wishes will come true very soon. The shooting is likely to begin next February,” Chiranjeevi told newsmen in an informal chat at the PRP headquarters.

Chiranjeevi,who is a member of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from templev town Tirupati,said he would henceforth devote 20 days in a month to politics and the rest to films.

“We are drafting a plan accordingly. There is no question of ignoring or neglecting politics,” Chiranjeevi said.

The 55-year-old Telugu megastar is currently reading a few scripts for his 150th movie venture that will be produced by his actor-son Ramcharan Tej.

Chiranjeevi wants the film to be loaded with a social message keeping in sync with his new-found status as a political leader.
