Lindsay Lohan has her phone taken in New York

The ‘Just My Luck’ star had left her phone at the Manhattan diner and when she returned later the employee in possession of it refused to hand it back to her,as he didn’t know who she was.

The actress was visibly troubled and could not hide her emotions. Fuming over the alleged theft,the 23-year-old star cursed the counterman Mohammed Hashan and called the cops when he demanded proof that she was the owner of the BlackBerry.

“I was just trying to be honest. Now I have police and trouble already. Who is she? Is she a star? I’m no celebrity. I’m not nothing. I’m only a restaurant worker,” said Hashan.

“She said,’I’m calling the police! I’m going to arrest you for not giving me my phone!'” he added.

When the police turned up he gave them the phone. They unlocked it,saw a photo of Lohan,and gave it back to her,Hashan said.
