Lindsay Lohan banned from entering hotel

The actress and singer was implicated in a USD 100,000 jewellery heist.

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan’s unpaid USD 46,000 bill at Chateau Marmont has landed her a lifetime ban from the Beverly Hills hotel.

The 26-year-old actress had enjoyed a summer of hotel living on the sunset strip and is putting the sour end to her glamorous and expensive accommodation down to a simple miscommunication, reported TMZ online.

“We’re not commenting on anything to do with Chateau Marmont,” Lohan’s representative said.

Lohan was under the impression that the producers for her latest film,’Liz & Dick’,would cover the tab. After the bill was obtained,it was revealed that charges included USD 686 for 49 packs of cigarettes and USD 3,145.07 for the mini-bar.

“It appears that a private correspondence between Chateau Marmont’s general manager and Miss Lohan was leaked by a member of her entourage,” the hotel said in a statement.

“We are as horrified, disappointed and troubled by this occurrence as Miss Lohan surely is. Obviously, this is a private matter between one of our guests and the hotel and we will continue to treat it as such,” it added.

This latest controversy marks a turbulent week for Lohan. The actress, singer and socialite was implicated in a USD 100,000 jewellery heist, but it has recently been confirmed that she will not face charges.
