Lillette and Ira Dubey to perform in London

The mother-daughter duo will perform two plays from their repertoire at Watermans' in London.

Lillete Dubey,one of the best known faces in Indian theatre and daughter,’Aisha’ star Ira Dubey,will perform two plays from their repertoire at Watermans’ in London.

The performance is to mark the actor/director’s group Prime Time’s twentieth anniversary and the work will be showcased over a fortnight from 29 March to 5 April.

‘Love on the Brink’,is an absurd comedy adapted from ‘Luv’ a Broadway play by American writer,Murray Schisgal while ‘Dance Like a Man’,is a social drama,by contemporary Indian playwright,Mahesh Dattani.

‘Dance Like a Man’,which is amongst India’s longest running shows is the story of two aging Bharatnatyam dancers,Ratna and Jairaj,who are past their prime,contrasting alongside their daughter,Lata who is on the verge of establishing herself as a brilliant dancer.
