Katie Holmes reconnects with ex-boyfriend Joshua Jackson

Jackson said he is thrilled to have reconnected with his former 'Dawson's Creek' co-star.

Katie Holmes has reconnected with her former boyfriend Joshua Jackson by calling him after her split from Hollywood star Tom Cruise.

Jackson,who is in a long-term relationship with German actress Diane Kruger,said that he is thrilled to have reconnected with his former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ co-star,reported Daily Mail online.

The 34-year-old said they had a lot to catch up on during a recent phone-call.

“Like any old friend,it was like,’Oh,hi how are you? What’s going on?’ ‘I had a kid’; ‘Yeah,that’s crazy,I heard!’ It was nice,it was very nice,actually,” Jackson said.

Holmes and Jackson dated during the first season of the popular TV series in 1998.

Joshua has been happily dating Diane since 2006 but the couple are more interested in having children together than getting married.
