Kanye West and Taylor Swift named Billboard’s top artists

He took away the microphone she was holding to say that Beyonce Knowles should have won the prize for the music video of her track ‘Single Ladies’ (Put a Ring on It). However,The 19-year-old singer has beaten Beyonce once again,this time on the Billboard’s end of year hit list.

The ‘You Belong With Me’ hitmaker was also able to surpass the likes of Lady Gaga,Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears,who grabbed the third,fourth and fifth spot respectively. On the other hand,Kanye West beat musicians T.I.,Flo Rida,Jason Mraz and Ne-Yo to grab the top honour among male artists.

Swift was also named Billboard Artist of The Year where she was competing with Beyonce,Lady GaGa and the Black Eyed Peas.
