It’s official: Emma Watson will join Brown University

Emma has confirmed that she will be joining Brown University in Rhodes Island,an Ivy League establishment.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson has confirmed that she will be joining Brown University in Rhodes Island,an Ivy League establishment.

“I am [going to university in the Fall – to Brown,which is an Ivy League establishment in the U.S.A. I’ve got a place there to read literature,” People magazine quoted her as telling Paste magazine.

Speculations had grown that the actress would join Ivy League since she went on a tour of schools under the establishment in October last year.

Rumours were also abuzz that Watson would join Yale or Cambridge.

She was linked to Columbia University too,by the U.K. publication The Daily Mail.

Danielle Radcliffe had apparently a few days earlier revealed that she was joining Brown University.

He told The Guardian in a July 4 article: “Me and Rupert [Grint to all intents and purposes dropped out of school. And she’s going to Brown.”
