Heath Ledger’s death made me re-evaluate life: Gyllenhall

The sudden demise of his friend and actor Heath Ledger led actor Jake Gyllenhall to re-evaluate his life.

The sudden demise of his friend and actor Heath Ledger led actor Jake Gyllenhall to re-evaluate his life as the star realised he had become too focused on his career.

“Life,I didn’t totally understand. And I think I was afraid of life. And I had success in my work, enough success that you could keep going back there,” Gyllenhall said.

“But after (Ledger’s death) happened… I think I recognised that it was work. And I recognised that this is for real,” he added.
