Teen star Kristen Stewart is urging movie bosses to split the final 'Twilight' movie into two parts.

Teen star Kristen Stewart is urging movie bosses to split the final ‘Twilight’ movie into two parts because the story “absolutely warrants two films.”

The actress has finished filming the third installment in the vampire franchise,’The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’,and has signed up to star in the final film ‘Breaking Dawn’,based on the fourth book in the series by Stephenie Meyer,MTV.com reported.

Producers are currently weighing up the possibility of splitting the final installment into two films,in the same way the last Harry Potter film,’Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’,will hit cinemas.

A decision is yet to be made about the future of the ‘Twilight’ conclusion, but Stewart is adamant the story in ‘Breaking Dawn’ would easily lend itself to a two-part ending.

“I am down. I wanna do it. I don’t know yet (whether they’re going to split it into two). They don’t know yet. The story absolutely warrants two films. But I think you could do it with one. It just depends,” Stewart said.

“It would be a six-month shoot (if we made two movies back-to-back),compared to a three-month shoot. It would be much more satisfying to do (two films),because we wouldn’t have to drop so much of the story; it wouldn’t be like,’Well,we didn’t get to do this scene, this scene or this scene.’ You’d get less of that – which would be good,” Stewart added.
