Eminem tops the UK music charts for first time Since 2006

Eminem's new collaboration with Rihanna,'The Monster' is number one on the UK singles chart.

Rapper Eminem has scored his first number one on the UK singles chart since 2006 with his new Rihanna collaboration,’The Monster’.

The track,from the 41-year-old singer’s new album The Marshall Mathers Lp 2,also marks the seventh time in seven years that Rihanna has debuted at the top of the pop charts,

joining only The Beatles and Elvis Presley,reported MTV news.

Last week’s number one,Lorde’s ‘Royals’,fell to number two and Fat Boy Slim’s ‘Eat Sleep Rave Repeat’ came in at number three,giving the DJ his first top 10 hit in 12 years.

One Direction’s ‘Story Of My Life’ and One Republic’s ‘Counting Stars’ rounded out the new top five.
