Mahie Gill who was last seen in the Zanjeer remake as Mona darling, recently wrapped up the shooting of Satish Kaushiks Gangs Of Ghost,an adaptation of the Bengali hit Bhooter Bhobishyot. The actress who has gotten over the debacle of Zanjeer,is now looking forward to the film in which she plays the ghost of a 1950s actress,Manuranjana Kumari who dies of heartbreak and drinking Vat 69! Talking about GOG,Gill says,Manoranjanas ghost comes to life in Anupam Khers mansion with several other ghosts. Its a very interesting part, because on one hand I have to look and talk like an actress of a bygone era and on the other hand dress up like a contemporary woman,as the ghosts are living in todays times. The movie is a ghost comedy and a satire on how redevelopment is changing the face of cities and there are no mansions left for ghosts to dwell, says Gill. Now that she has completed the film,Mahie is reading several scripts including a few Punjabi ones,as her last Carry On Jatta was a huge hit. Gill is yet to give the nod to any of the projects.
