Abhishek Bachchan hits back at ad man Prahlad Kakkar

Pralhad Kakkar had said Abhishek's name should be in the Guinness Book of World Records for surviving despite 17 flops.

Abhishek Bachchan has blasted adman Prahlad Kakkar for his recent comments that the Bollywood actor’s name should be in the Guinness Book of World Records for surviving in the industry despite 17 flops.

The ad filmmaker made those comments two days ago at the ongoing Mumbai Film Festival while speaking at a discussion forum. Kakkar also accused people in the Hindi Film industry of giving preference to their family members over talent.

The comments did not go down well with the junior Bachchan, who posted his reaction on the micro-blogging site Twitter. “I love Prahlad Kakkar,he should be a stand-up comic not an ad-filmmaker. Maybe then someone will take him seriously! This coming from a man who makes commercials with his own son. Hmmm. Oh ya,Prahlad,I’m already in the Guiness book of world records and a very proud son. I hope you give your sons an opportunity to say the same someday (sic),” he wrote.

Abhishek entered the Guiness Book last year after making a world record for maximum public appearances in 12 hours while promoting Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Delhi 6’.
