Shahid Kapoor, after having won awards and accolades in equal measure for his almost-to-perfection portrayal of the emotionally ruined Hamlet in Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Haider’, is on a high these days. And now, with the burden of expectations, he is a bundle of nerves ahead of his upcoming projects in ‘Shaandaar’ and ‘Udta Punjab’.

Shahid Kapoor‘s role in ‘Udta Punjab‘ is akin to what he did in ‘Haider’ – serious and intense, which is making him even more nervous and ‘scared’. The talented actor took to Instagram and posted a picture with the description of his next venture ‘Udta Punjab’. He wrote, “Scariest part I have played yet have no clue how I’m going to get it right . Wish me luck guys”

Also, recently when Shahid‘s followers crossed 500K mark on Instagram, he obliged his fans by posting a picture of his. The look in that picture is said to be his look in ‘Udta Punjab’.

The movie revolves around four characters, played by Shahid, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh and each of them has a subplot which collectively comprise the whole story.
