When Shraddha Kapoor was caught cheating during an exam: ‘I was so disappointed in myself’

She said, “I was so disappointed in myself. I had written my answers under my pinafore and I had thought ki ‘kya brilliant idea hai matlab no one will be able to catch me’. And I was just looking at the answers and my teacher was standing right next to me.”

It took some time for the young Shraddha to realise the trouble she had landed herself in. The actor said, “And I was like ‘hey I know I am going to get amazing marks’. She was right there. My teacher just shouted, ‘Shraddha!’, and I was caught in the end. So clearly, I am a terrible liar.”

In the interview, Shraddha Kapoor also confessed that she would like to take some qualities from her character Tinni in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.

“I am not very much like this character. She is very on her front-foot. I think it’s very inspiring to see how confident she is and I could learn a thing or two from her. I think I would like to be more front-foot like her. Jo bhi mere dimag mein aaya main bol dungi (I would like to speak whatever is in my mind). Actually, as a person, I evaluate am I saying the right thing and I hope I don’t offend anyone. I think a lot,” said the actor, who is also “manifesting” the start of Stree 2’s shooting.
