Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi are gearing up for the release of Rohit Shetty’s digital debut titled Indian Police Force. The actors and the director are currently promoting the upcoming show. In a recent chat, Vivek opened up about Sidharth’s dedication to the show and revealed that the Shershaah actor fasted on the sets of the show.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Vivek told Sidharth, “You rocked that uniform, man. There were days when he didn’t eat. I thought he was fasting for Karwachauth, but actually, he was fasting for the uniform.”
Sidharth quipped, “I was not married at that time.” Vivek joked, “In advance, maybe earning brownie points.”
Shilpa then revealed how she was unaware of Sidharth’s wedding and recalled how the actor was shooting with them before his big day. Shilpa said, “He (Sidharth Malhotra) was shooting with us two days before his marriage and I asked Rohit, ‘I heard he is getting married.’ Rohit said, ‘He did not tell us.’” Sidharth revealed, “Actually, the only person who knew on that set was him.”
Vivek said that he and Sidharth had discussed the wedding earlier and added that Shilpa was the only one who did not know about it. Shilpa said that as an actor she would never cross that line of discussing something private with someone who is trying to keep it under wraps. Sidharth then thanked Shilpa for understanding.
Sidharth and Kiara tied the knot in February 2023 at Suryagarh Palace in Rajasthan. The intimate wedding ceremony was attended by family members and close friends. The couple shared beautiful pictures from the ceremony and wrote, “Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai We seek your blessings and love on our journey ahead.”
