Fans also couldn’t help but notice how The Academy had previously featured another Shreya Ghoshal song, “Deewani Mastani” from Bajirao Mastani which had Deepika Padukone putting up a masterful performance in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. “I think The academy is a big fan of Shreya Ghoshal,” a user commented. “Another song by @shreyaghoshal to be featured on The Academy page! The Academy shoutout for Alia Bhatt comes weeks after the actor made global headlines with her Met Gala appearance, where she wore a Sabyasachi saree. Last year, Alia Bhatt also made her international debut with the spy actioner Heart of Stone.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt is awaiting the release of her next, Jigra. The action film is gearing to release later this year, after which she will begin Love and War, the Bhansali directorial starring her actor husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
