Amid reports about Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja heading for divorce, Sunita has vociferously denied the news while accepting that she and her kids live separately from her husband. While there is still chatter around all not being well between the couple, Sunita seems to have shut all feud reports with a viral video where she is seen kissing Govinda in what looks like a family celebration.

In the viral video, Govinda and his family are seen celebrating, and after Govinda feeds cake to his wife, Sunita kisses Govinda. Many netizens pointed out how their children, Yashvardhan and Tina, are evidently awkward amid this gesture of Sunita. The divorce rumors began after Sunita stated in an interview that she and Govinda lived separately.

Sunita had revealed that she and her kids lived in a flat separately, while Govinda stayed in a bungalow opposite their apartment. Later, she claimed that she was joking and established that no one could separate her and Govinda. After Sunita’s statement backfired, the Bollywood wife went on to clarify that when Govinda entered politics, a lot of people would come home, and since their daughter was growing up, they bought a separate flat for her safety. She also shared that many times since Govinda’s political meetings went on till late, he would sleep at the bungalow only.

While this public display of affection proves all is well between the couple, a few days back, Sunita Ahuja’s lawyer had said that she had filed for divorce six months ago, but later, the couple reconciled. Another report stated that Sunita even sent a separation notice to Govinda, and while she was adamant on getting the divorce, Govinda wanted to give their 37-year-long marriage another chance. Govinda and Sunita got married in March 1987.
