Sonu Sood asks people to be kind to debutants

Actor Sonu Sood has extended his support to newcomers in the film industry and other fields. He has urged people to be kind to debutants and encourage them in their journey.

He wrote on X, “Be kind to debutants in the film fraternity and elsewhere. Nobody was perfect when they started. We all learn with experience. Only a handful get a second chance. A good or bad performance in any vertical is the collective responsibility of every technician involved. We are all learners. Let’s support and encourage them. Spread love.”

Without naming any specific project or stars, Sonu Soood’s tweet follows the criticism faced by star kids Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan, and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, after the release of their latest film Nadaaniyan on Netflix.

Several fans agreed with his sentiments, with one user writing: “Wise words! Everyone starts somewhere—let’s uplift, support, and spread positivity.” Another fan commented, “A person who mastered their field today started as a beginner once. When talent emerges we should encourage it and let the skills flourish. Constructive criticism & unnecessary hate.”

Nadaaniyan also starred Jugal Hanraj, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Mahima Chaudhry in pivotal roles. It released on Netflix on March 7.
